Nitrogen plants (AGU (АГУ) 2 400.35)
Field of application
The nitrogen gasification plant AGU 2400.35 (АГУ 2400.35) (mobile) is designed for safe conversion of liquid nitrogen into a gaseous state and supplying it under specified pressure and temperature to a well, pipeline or other process equipment.
Technology
A mobile gasification plant allows to inject nitrogen gas into the well, to aerate and to eject liquid. Gradually, the density of the well fluid and the bottomhole pressure are lowering which causes the inflow of oil and gas from the formation.
This significantly increases the explosion safety of the works and simplifies the process control over a wide range of pressures and costs.
It is especially effective to combine nitrogen injection with coiled tubing - to clean the shaft and the bottomhole at low formation pressures. For wells with horizontal sections, the use of this technology provides for the efficient cleaning of the shaft and allows to avoid the problems of mechanical impurities setting down during circulation (proppant after hydraulic fracturing). In this case, the use of nitrogen gas decreases the weight of the liquid column during well washing and increases the flow rate.
Intended use
The use of nitrogen gas helps to increase the production rate of wells and, in general, production of the field.
In addition, experts consider the use of nitrogen gas to be one of the effective methods of conducting service operations:
- creation of an inert environment in tanks for the repair and maintenance of wells and natural gas storage facilities;
- blowing of technological systems and pipelines, their crimping, conservation and explosion protection.
Thus, the scope of AGU (АГУ) use includes development, maintenance and repair of oil and gas wells, and pipelines. The unit can be used independently and together with the coiled tubing equipment complex.
The first PSKOVTEHGAZ® AGU 2 400.35 (АГУ 2 400.35) was designed, manufactured, tested and shipped in 2017. All these works required only 112 business days.

Scope of delivery:
1. Pumping cryogenic unit produced by PSKOVTEHGAZ®; type - ANK (АНК).
2. Heat exchangers: produced by PSKOVTEHGAZ®. Selection by order parameters:
2.1 - atmospheric evaporator;
2.2 - liquid evaporator;
2.3 - solid-state evaporator-preheater.
Selection of the model and quantity - based on the required performance of the unit.
3. Tank for liquid nitrogen - selection upon Customer's request.
4 - Control system - optional: automated; combined; manual.
5 - Autonomous energy supply system (DES (ДЭС) shall be selected based on the results of calculations.
6. Frame or container version.
7. Chassis - upon Customer's request: trailer, semitrailer, tractor.
The overall dimensions and layout of the equipment provide for the location of the units on the site or on the platform of the vehicle, taking into account the safety and accessibility standards for mounting and repair works, as well as ease of operation.
8. Operator's cabin - the composition shall be determined by the Customer.
9. Exhaust gas heat recovery (optional).
Transport version
Frames with equipment are installed on a semi-trailer, semi-drive chassis or any other transport base - at the Customer's choice.
